The  Queensland's Outback Education Handbook has been developed as a resource to help teachers build Queensland's history and heritage into their curriculum. The information will assist and guide the development of lesson plans to assist with student's essential learnings and outcomes. The resource also provides travel and safety information as well as suggested itineraries with a range of options to suit the needs of any year 6 or 7 school group.

Queensland Outback Education Tour Subsidy for Queensland Schools Queensland Outback Education Tour Subsidy for Queensland Schools

The Outback Education Tour Subsidy Scheme encourages Queensland schools to take Year 6 and 7 students to visit Queensland’s Outback to learn about the history and heritage of our State. The scheme provides a subsidy of up to $130 + GST per student to assist financially towards their Outback school camp. Click here for more information.
